PRE-TRIP INSPECTION GUIDE

EXTERIOR

In and anti – clockwise direction starting from the driver’s door walk around the car

1. There’s no obstruction or leaks underneath the vehicle.
2. The mirror is tightly secured and fitted.
3. My windscreen has no cracks and is clean.
4. My wiper blade is stable and is not perished.
5. My tyre thread is more than 1mm, my air pressure is right   and all 4 nuts are tide.
6. The front lights is stable and in working order.
7. I’ve checked my water, brake fluid, oil and fan belt.
8. My number plate has no cracks and corresponds with the licence disk.
9. That light, windscreen, wiper, mirror and tyre is the same as the right hand side.
10. The back left tyre is the same as all the others.
11. The fuel cap is closed and has no leaks.
12. The back lights is stable and in working order.
13. The back number plate corresponds with the front one and the licence disk.
14. The right back tyre is the same as all the others.

INTERIOR

1. There’s no obstruction underneath my feet.
2. My seat is adjusted.
3. My Handbrake is up.
4. My car is in neutral.
5. My mirrors are adjusted.
6. My doors are closed
7. My seatbelt is in working operation ( put it on.)
8. Put on ignition and say – All my warning lights and gauges are working.
9. The car has an automatic choke – start the car.
